Do you sometimes think that your dog doesn't really know her name? Does Muffy have a case of "selective hearing?" When you call your dog to come, or tell her to "stay" does she sometimes not even respond? Like she doesn't see or hear you?
Separation Anxiety and other home alone phobias, can be a lose-lose situation for you and your dog. You can't take them with you, but you can't trust them home alone. Fido is only happy when you are with him. Wouldn't you like to buy that new couch and know that it will be in one piece when you get home? Other Home Alone behaviors may also fit into this category.
Does Fido just love answering the door for you? Is it possible to have someone stop by to visit you without first getting approval from your dog (rude sniffing, jumping, slamming, nonstop barking, etc.)? It's time to take back the door!
For that opportunistic trash picker, counter surfer, whatever he can get away with when nobody's looking, dog. (Or if he thinks he's fast enough to get away with it when you are looking!
Whether it's digging a crater in your back yard, jumping up to knock you in the nose, stealing or eating anything that's not bolted down, etc. Let's redirect this behavior to something we'd prefer your dog to do, shall we?
All puppy-training issues are addressed including, crate training, inappropriate chewing, jumping, digging, play biting, how to properly socialize and more.
Who's walking whom? Is Fido not getting walks because you haven't got the strength to wrestle with him when he pulls?
For the dog that's sensitive to noises, motions, and seems to over-reactive to everything. This can also manifest into fear aggression.

We are the first (and only) positive reinforcement dog training facility in Salt Lake County. We have the experience and the tools necessary for all your training needs. You can be sure you are getting the expertise of the best trainers in the state at Calling All Dogs. There is so much being discovered in the world of dog training today; we are committed to keeping abreast of the latest humane training techniques. Let us answer your questions and show you the most effective way to train your dog.
There's more than one method of dog training. At Calling All Dogs, we use positive reinforcement methods only. This means the emphasis is on humanely teaching our dogs—with patience and fairness—exactly what we want from them. There is no yelling or abuse of any kind. When training, we will never use fear, pain, intimidation, or discomfort. We will also never use instruments that cause your dog to feel this way or cause physiological damage, including shock collars, prong (or pinch) collars, choke chains, whips, or chains. We want our dogs to enjoy the training process and, in turn, learn quickly and retain their knowledge.
Our three trainers, with over 25 years experience between them, are each nationally certified by the CPDT, the largest training organization in the world. They travel around the country attending lectures, seminars, workshops, etc. to continue their training and keep abreast of the latest methods in behavior modification. In addition, working together every day allows them to share ideas and learn from each other.

Interactive Toys
Why have interactive toys for your dog?
Dogs are genetically programmed to hunt for their food. Part of the reason there is such a prevalence of behavior problems in dogs is that they have so little mental challenge or work to do; they typically get their food for free. Interactive toys are a great way to keep your dog mentally challenged and for dogs that tend to get bored easily or are left at home for long periods of time. Some of these interactive toys require your assistance to keep the dog engaged, while others can keep your dog entertained all by themselves.
Toy Review and Suggestions
Kong Products—
The Kong products are fantastic interactive toys for your dogs. We suggest stuffing the Kong with your dog's kibble in lieu of feeding from a dish. Kongs come in red and black (for heavy chewers) and many different sizes. The XL Kong is well suited for medium or large breeds (50-70 lbs).
Treat Stick
—A hard plastic flashlight-shaped tube that has two openings. One end twists open for easy filling and the other end has a small hole for food to drop out for eating. This toy is fun, durable, comes in two sizes, and easy to fill.
Tricky Treat Ball— (by Omega Paw)
A rubber ball with a hole to dispense treats or dog kibble. We love this toy, and so do our dogs. It is a soft rubber ball that when rolled around dispenses the food. The more food that is in the ball, the more generous it is with dispensing. Make sure on the first run that ball has lots of goodies in it. We would recommend this toy to dogs that are not heavy chewers, but like a good challenge.

Busy Buddies-Premier
—Our dogs have tested the whole line of Busy Buddies, and the winners are:
The Twist and Treat
—Round disc/flying saucer looking contraption that can be filled with either peanut butter, wet food, or mashed up food or can be filled with kibble or small crunchy treats. The dogs really enjoy them, and the product seemed to withstand their chewing.
Tug a Jug
—Made out of bullet-proof plastic, this toy is tough! One end opens to allow for easy filling and closing. The other end is smaller and has a rope through the tip. Great feeding toy/tool for a hungry dog
IQ Cube— Fabric cube with squeaky balls inside.
